Cold wave alert has been issued in Firozpur, Fazilka, Faridkot, Muktsar, Moga, Bathinda, Barnala and Mansa of Punjab. The situation will be normal in the rest of the districts and the Meteorological Department has not issued any warning for any other district.
Western Disturbance is active from January 4
Another Western Disturbance will become active on January 4. Its effect will be felt on the plains as well as the hills of the western Himalayas. On January 4, light rain is expected in Amritsar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran and Hoshiarpur in Punjab.
